Draft. This page is being finalised and is pending review. It describes how Nexventory works today; it will be updated before it becomes final.
Who we are
Nexventory is an inventory-audit service for product businesses. It is currently operated by an independent founder and is not yet a registered company. For any question about this policy or your information, email ventorynex@gmail.com.
Information we collect
When you request an inventory audit
Your name, work email, company, role, approximate number of SKUs, current inventory system and anything you write in the message box, together with the time you sent it.
When you have an account
Your name, email address, role, the organisation you belong to and when you last signed in. Your password is stored only as a one-way hash, not in readable form.
Business data you upload
Inventory and sales exports you provide — for example a TallyPrime stock summary and sales register, or CSV/Excel reports — and the analysis we produce from them. These files are business records, but they can contain personal information, such as names in sales vouchers or supplier details. Please share only what is needed for the audit.
When you visit the website
Page-view statistics through Vercel Web Analytics, and the technical information our hosting provider receives with every web request (such as IP address and browser type).
How we use it
- To reply to your audit request and discuss whether an audit fits your business.
- To run the inventory analysis and show you the results in your account.
- To operate, secure and troubleshoot the service, including signing you in.
- To meet legal obligations that apply to us.
Where it is stored and who processes it
We use the following service providers to run Nexventory:
- Vercel — hosts the website and application, and provides the website analytics.
- Amazon Web Services — stores account data, audit requests, analysis results and the files you upload.
- Supabase — our previous database and file-storage provider, which may still hold data submitted before we moved to Amazon Web Services.
These providers may store and process information outside India, including in the United States. We do not currently share your information with anyone else, except where the law requires it.
Who can access your information
- Users you add to your organisation's account can see that organisation's data after signing in.
- The Nexventory operator can access account and business data to deliver the audit, provide support and keep the service running.
- Service providers listed above, as needed to host and run the service.
Access to your organisation's data in the application requires signing in, and each account sees only its own organisation's data. The website is served over HTTPS.
How long we keep it
We have not yet set fixed retention periods. Today, uploaded files, analysis results and account information are kept until they are deleted at your request, and audit-request details are kept so we can follow up on your request. We will update this policy when retention periods are set.
Your choices and requests
You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it or your organisation's uploaded data, by emailing ventorynex@gmail.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request. Signed-in customers can also view and export their inventory data from within the application.
Cookies
When you sign in, we set a cookie that keeps you signed in; the application does not work without it. We do not use advertising cookies. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to measure page views without using cookies.
Children
Nexventory is a business service and is not intended for children.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date at the top. Significant changes will be highlighted on this page.
